Natural Fabric Qualities

Cotton

Cotton is a soft, natural fiber from the Gossypium plant, composed almost entirely of cellulose — which makes it breathable, absorbent, durable, and gentle on the skin. Once harvested, the fibers are spun into yarn and woven or knitted into fabrics known for their comfort, versatility, and timeless appeal. As a renewable and biodegradable material, cotton remains one of the world’s most valued textiles for thousands of years.

Key Characteristics

Natural Origin: Plant‑based fiber of exceptional purity.

Composition: Nearly pure cellulose for strength and flexibility.

Properties: Soft, breathable, moisture‑absorbent, skin‑friendly.

Sustainability: Renewable and fully biodegradable.

Lyocell

Lyocell or (Tencel) is a soft yet durable, plant‑based semi‑synthetic fiber made from wood pulp—often sourced from eucalyptus, birch, oak, or bamboo. Produced through a closed‑loop solvent process, it is breathable, moisture‑wicking, biodegradable, and widely recognized as a sustainable alternative to cotton or silk. Its silky touch, smooth drape, and natural comfort make it a popular choice for both apparel and bedding.

How It’s Made

Raw Material: Wood from eucalyptus, birch, oak, or bamboo is processed into pulp.

Dissolving: The pulp is mixed with an organic solvent (amine oxide) to form a thick cellulose solution.

Fiber Formation: This solution is pushed through fine spinnerets, creating long, delicate fibers.

Finishing: The fibers are washed, dried, spun into yarn, and woven into fabric.

Viscose

Viscose is a semi‑synthetic fiber derived from plant‑based cellulose, typically sourced from wood pulp. Through chemical processing, the pulp is transformed into soft, lightweight, and breathable fibers that offer a silk‑ or cotton‑like feel at a more accessible cost. Also known as rayon, viscose is loved for its fluid drape, high absorbency, and natural comfort, making it a staple in garments such as dresses, blouses, linings, and shirts. It does, however, tend to shrink or wrinkle if not cared for properly.

Key Characteristics

Feel & Appearance: Soft, smooth, and elegantly drapey, often with a subtle sheen that echoes the look of silk.

Breathable & Absorbent: Ideal for warm climates thanks to its moisture‑wicking properties and cool, airy feel similar to cotton.

Versatile: Can be engineered to imitate silk, cotton, or even wool, making it suitable for everything from casual wear to evening pieces.

Linen

Linen is a strong, natural fabric made from flax fibers, known for its durability, breathability, and fast‑drying nature. It has a distinctive textured look, wrinkles naturally, softens with wear, and is considered eco‑friendly thanks to the low‑impact cultivation of flax. Linen is antimicrobial, biodegradable, and ideal for warm‑weather clothing and bedding, though it can be sensitive to mildew, sweat, and bleach.

Key Characteristics

Origin: Derived from the stalks of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum).

Strength: Among the strongest natural fibers globally, gaining even more strength when wet.

Breathability: Exceptionally breathable and thermoregulating, keeping you cool in summer and comfortably warm in cooler weather.

Moisture‑Wicking: Absorbs moisture efficiently and dries far faster than cotton.

Texture: Features a unique, slightly textured or subtly slubby appearance that softens with continued use.

Eco‑Friendly: Requires minimal water and pesticides to cultivate and is fully biodegradable.

Antimicrobial: Naturally antibacterial, helping resist odors and mildew.

Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester is a high-performance fabric crafted from post-consumer plastic waste, such as water bottles. Instead of ending up in landfills or our oceans, these plastics are collected, processed, and spun into premium fibers to create the clothes you love.

Why Choose Recycled?

Eco-Conscious: Producing rPET uses up to 59% less energy and significantly reduces carbon emissions compared to virgin polyester.

Built to Last: It offers the same durability and strength as traditional polyester. It’s wrinkle-resistant, shrink-proof, and designed to withstand your daily hustle.

Performance Ready: Naturally moisture-wicking and quick-drying, it’s the perfect choice for activewear, outerwear, and everyday essentials.

Circular Fashion: By choosing recycled, you help reduce the global demand for petroleum extraction and support a cleaner, circular economy.

Same premium feel & durability.
Less plastic waste in our oceans.
Lower environmental footprint.

Rayon

Rayon is a versatile, semi-synthetic fabric that bridges the gap between natural and technical fibers. Made from regenerated cellulose (wood pulp or bamboo), it offers a premium look and feel, often serving as an elegant, sustainable alternative to silk.
What is Rayon?
Derived from plant-based sources, Rayon undergoes a sophisticated transformation to become the soft, flowing fiber we love. It mimics the breathability of natural materials while providing the consistent quality of modern textile engineering.
